Arphic is one of the best available collections containing European, Cyrillic

and Eastern (Chinese, Japanese) glyphs. For RusXMMS I'm using

 * Unfortunatelly, the Gentoo could broke the proportionality of fonts (

 instead of -p- will arive -c- which are looking very ugly).

 This is done by /etc/init.d/xfs script.  To disable regeneration, you should

 switch off in /etc/conf.d/xfs

    SETUP_FONTDIRS="no"

 if the fonts are already broken, it is neccessary to reinstall arphic

 fonts. They will work again.
