What we need:

 - Large backpack (65-80L) for oversees travel. Jack Wolfskin is good, but we can find lighter

 model with better ventilation of spine.

 - Medium backpack (45-50L) suitable for inter-European hand luggage (or semi-hand):

 I.e. lightweight and with longest dimmension within 53-55cm. Again, it would be nice if

 ventilation is better than in my green one.

 - Day pack (30-35L) which can fit in the large backpack. Ideally if we can combine 

 medium and day pack.

 

Large

Osprey Kestrel 68L (78x37x37 @ 1.78kg)          ~ 57-60 cm min, 

    => Kestrel 58L (78x36x35 @ 1.76kg)

    => Kestrel 48L (75x34x32 @ 1.63kg)          - is even higher than Kestrel 68L (but narrower)

    => Kestrel 38L (75x31x29 @ 1.54kg) 

 

Medium

Arcretyx Alpha AR 55 (55x?x? @ 0.96 - 1.33kg)   - Similar to Evelina's orange. No Air System. Should fit in hang-luggage (55cm). Removable frame (seems easy), i.e. easy transportation as a second?

 

 

Day

Osprey Talon 33L (62x30x29 @ 0.91kg)            - No frame and definitively in 55cm air-craft range, recommended for 7-13kg. Small & Large models. Has a simple (non-bulky, but seems reasonable) air flow system.

    => Talon 44L (67x30x33 @ 1.11kg)            - Bad for discounters because of non-removable frame (~57-59mm), recommended for 12-18kg

 

Berghaus Fast Hike 32L                          - Lightweigh and small, but just one big pocket.

Osprey Nebula 34L                               - Rather heavy for this size.
