 Savignon Blank from Marlborough is quite interesting (often with red currant notes which fit quite well).

 Pinot Gris is not as interesting, but often is also quite drinkable. Risling and Gewurztraminer on

 sweet boring side. The wines from Otago sometimes also good, but there are significantly larger proportion

 of bad wines and good ones are quite expensive.
