What we want to monitor

=======================

 - Eletricity, gas, water consumption [ hard to realise without rebuilding all anew: there some expensive devices to control water flow and also water inflow to heating pipes ]

 - Gas / watter leakage, etc [ Gas mighgt be, water is useless as detected when gets into the water ]

 - Is stof on or off [ need digital stoff or monitoring camera ]

 - Doors / window open/close + vibration [ doable, but expensive for all ]

 - Who is entering the house [ smart cameras ]

 + Intrusion detection with motion sensors (vibration? light?) [ douable + camera + doors sensor, vibration? ]

 - Temperature / climate: e.g. if we need to ventilate the room [ there is a sensor ]

 - Post somehow [ unclear ]

 

What we want to control

=======================

 + Smart bulbs: App is not convinient, brighness is nice to have [ multiple variants ]

 + Heating (gas) and cooling down (condition) [ Gas scarry, but condition should be possible with smart plugs or smart condition ]

 + Top lights in the sleeping room? [ power switch ]

 + Turning on/off some computing equippment, e.g. for meetings or rpi server [ smart power plug ]

 - Ventilation might be nice if we are long time away [ smart switches ]

 - Smart Locks for house and garrage [ sounds dangerous, no good models found ]

 

Automatic control

=================

 + Lights on/off in coridor?                    [ smart switch + motion detection ]

 - Washing: to use cheap electricity, etc.      [ probably little use right now ]

 

Displays

========

 - ToDo and calendar, etc..

 

Garden

======

 - Monitoring: water (elements?) level in the soil

 - Control: watering system, swtich direction of water flow..

 

External

========

 - Smart lock for bike (unlock when I am 1m away? ]

 

What we don't want

==================

 - Top lights in general [ switches are easier when phone app ]

 - Curtains

 - Music? [ Hard, anyway we need to select music. ]

 - Oven: technically here is an option to start remotely if we are not sure when we are home. 

 - The Smart Kettle and the other types of kitchen equippment is probably not needed

 - Robot cleaners: useless as needs pereodic cleaning and help anyway ]

 - Air cleaner [ not critical now ]

 - Smart deposit box? [ too fancy ]
